Twista Arrested for Marijuana Possession

We haven't heard much of Twista lately... until now. The MC recently made headlines after he was busted for possession of weed on Thursday night.

He had a scheduled gig as Big Shots in Valparaiso, Indiana, but those plans were compromised when his Rolls Royce phantom was pulled over at 10:15 p.m. The "Overnight Celebrity" rapper, two other passengers and the driver waited outside the car while the police searched it, only to find a stash of pot.

Police say they only stopped the vehicle because it was following too close behind a truck. Once they made it closer to the car, they smelled weed and proceeded to search. They found a half ounce of marijuana hidden in a fake can.

All four men, including Twista, were arrested. He was held until 4:00 a.m. on Friday morning and was released after posting $500 bail. Needless to say, the show did not go on.
