A grand jury has indicted Nicki Minaj’s brother on the charges he’s been facing that he repeatedly raped a 12-year-old girl.
As reported, the grand jury, after about a month of deliberating, has decided that there is enough evidence to charge Jelani Maraj with sexually abusing the pre-teen that came forward.
The 37-year-old was indicted on a slew of charges including felony predatory sexual assault against a child, felony sexual conduct against a child under age 13, sexual conduct against a child and endangering the welfare of a child.
If charged, he could be facing a minimum of 15 years for the top charge alone.
Maraj appeared in the sex crimes division of Nassau County Court with his lawyers, Benjamin Brafman and Andrea Zellan. He pled not guilty and was free on $100,000 bond.
