Black Kid in Wheelchair Hospitalized After Violent, Racist Bully Attack By a White

A shocking and enraging video out of a Michigan school depicts a white bully beating up on a wheelchair-dependent Black student that left him with a broken leg. The victim, whose name is Jordan, is battling a debilitating bone disease and is being treated for his injuries in the hospital. While the school claims they have taken appropriate action against the aggressor, the victim's mother disagrees.

The fight broke out on Monday morning, and quickly fellow students took out their phones to record the mayhem. The fight ends with Jordan on the ground with a broken leg.

Jordan's mother, Levette White, said of the incident, "I feel awful, he's in public school going to get an education. He's in a wheelchair; he has so many obstacles and hurdles in his life." She went on to recount her outrage when she got the call to hear that her son had been suspended for the fight.

Jordan, who sits in the wheelchair because he suffers from a brittle bone disease, was rushed to a Detroit hospital where he underwent emergency surgery to fix his broken leg. "He broke my son's femur in half and it has a pin in it — so the pin is mangled," White added.

She says the fight began as cyberbullying, and that Jordan was being targeted for his medical condition as well as his race.
