Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris Jackson wears the demonic rabbit from Donnie Darko as her 23rd tattoo

With more than 22 tattoos inked across her body, she's no stranger to going under the needle in the name of self expression. So it comes as no surprise that Paris Jackson emerged from a Los Angeles tattoo shop on Sunday afternoon with a brand new piece of ink emblazoned across her forearm. 

This time, however, the daughter of late pop star Michael Jackson opted for something for more sinister- a frightening depiction of the demonic rabbit featured in 2001's Donnie Darko. The 18-year-old looked elated with the finished product as she stared admiringly at the blue, black and white etching while puffing a cigarette outside the parlor. 

Below the rabbit - who visits Jake Gyllenhaal's disturbed character in the cult classic - are the words 'wake up' written in a sprawling scribble. 

Dressed in a pair of denim Daisy Dukes, loose-fitting grey tee and a flannel tied around her waist, Paris looked every inch the rocker chick as she embraced her new ink.
