transmission of HIV and syphilis. It is also the first with a "large HIV epidemic" to eradicate

Another woman dies in fatal Australian shark attack, the second in a week
A female diver died in an apparent shark attack off Australia's west
coast on Sunday, making it the second fatal shark attack recorded in the
area in less than a week. 43-year-old dive partner at a popular
spot called Mindarie, about 35 kilometers (21 miles) north of Perth,
when she was attacked, according to police.

Four workers of GMC Construction Company in the Ajah area of Lagos state has been

Pakistani schoolteacher died Wednesday from injuries after her body was
set on fire for refusing a marriage proposal, police said. The
perpetrators beat Maria Abbasi, then drenched her in petrol and set her
body ablaze before leaving her for dead, her family members said.
"Maria was at home baby-sitting her
5-year-old sister while her family went to a funeral in a nearby town,"

Chinese boy has been arrested for stowing away on a plane from Shanghai
to Dubai, where he reportedly planned to make a fortune begging for
money.
Chinese state media reported
the 16-year-old from Bazhong City in China's Sichuan province climbed a
fence at Shanghai's Pudong Airport on May 26 and sneaked into the cargo
hold of an Emirates A380 passenger plane. He hid there for the entire 9.5-hour flight.
