Kylie Jenner and Tyga reportedly
split during a bitter feud leading up to the Met Gala last week, but the 18-year-old reality star had
finally reached her boiling point after months of 'fighting a ton over stupid
petty issues' with the rapper, a source reported to People.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and father-of-one
Tyga are thought to have started dating in 2014 but they didn't go public with
their romance until late 2015.
Sources told TMZ on Thursday that while the couple
have broken up in the past, that 'this time there's no going back.'
'He was lying repeatedly to her face
and she just couldn't take it anymore,' the insider continued to People. 'She
couldn't trust a word he said.'
Tension was also growing over her
brother, Rob Kardashian's engagement to Tyga's ex Blac Chyna, so she decided to
call it quits on her relationship of two years.
Chyna, 28, and Rob, 29, started
dating in January and announced their engagement just months later on April 5
and the couple are now expecting their first child together.
Tyga and Chyna already share
three-year-old King Cairo Stevenson together, who was born in October 2012, and
the couple split in 2014.
'It shook up Kylie and Tyga's
relationship,' a family insider told People. 'It was definitely
uncomfortable and there were plenty of hurt feelings on Kylie's part.'
Part of the reason Jenner was
disturbed was due to Tyga congratulating his ex on Twitter when she broke the
news of her engagement to Rob.
Another source stated: 'The drama
really started to get to Kylie. She couldn't get it off her mind. She almost
felt like she was in an incestuous relationship.'
'She figured it'd be best to just
drop it and move on with her life so she wouldn't have to worry about all the
emotional baggage that came along with that situation anymore,' the insider
added.
