Johnny Depp's daughter, Lily-Rose defends her father saying; ‘Amber never told the cops that her father abused her'

The 30-year-old actress filed a restraining order against Depp on Friday claiming he'd hit her and thrown an iPhone at her face during a 'drug and alcohol-fueled fight' on May 21.

The revelations come as Depp's daughter Lily-Rose leaped to the defense of her father because Amber failed to tell officers responding to the incident at their Broadway home, in LA, that she had been assaulted. Instead, she simply told the cops she had been involved in an argument with her husband, the site reports.
The teenager posted comments from an LAPD sergeant on her Instagram, who said that police had found 'no evidence of any crime' at the scene of the alleged assault.

LAPD Sgt. Marlon Marrache told PEOPLE that: 'A crime did not occur so the officers left the scene and left a business card.'

With no visible injuries and Amber choosing not to file an official complaint, they left. But if there had been any signs of abuse, police would still have conducted an investigation - even if Amber had not wanted to press charges, he added.

Amber, who has still not filed a police report, appeared bruised when she appeared in court to file the restraining order on Friday. She also submitted pictures of her bruising which she claims was caused in the alleged attack.

A photograph of Amber smiling with friends hours after Depp allegedly launched the iPhone at her face emerged on Friday, but was deleted before she appeared at the Superior Court of California County of Los Angeles.
