Austin Obi an alleged thief was caught this morning in Ikeja(Seriki Aro) after trying to steal from some residents and was almost beaten to death by angry mob before policemen arrived.
According to an eyewitness,this is not the first time the thief will be operating in Ikeja axis, an act he indulges in almost every night.However luck ran out of him this morning when residents of
the area caught him and nearly lynched him to death.Three laptops were
recovered from him.While being interrogated by the mob about his
colleagues, he mentioned names of popular police men in Ikeja before
police men came and took him away.
