Abubakar Audu's widow may likely become the deputy governor of Kogi State

Rumours are making rounds that Aisha, the widow of late Prince Abubakar Audu, may be picked as the deputy governor of newly-elected governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello.
This reports are coming following earlier suggestions that the late politician’s running mate, James Faleke may have returned to the House of Representatives to resume duty as a legislator since he withdrew his candidacy as the party’s deputy governor in the last poll.
Although the state’s chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has since rejected the insinuations on the grounds that she is not a member of the party, there are indications that she may yet be favoured to hold the post, a development which is seen by many as a way of compensating her over her husband’s demise.
