As details of huge funds disbursed by the Office of the National Security Adviser under Col. Sambo Dasuki continue to surface, indications emerged last night that the embattled security czar is set to expose more top Nigerian leaders who benefited from the funds.

According to Vanguard, Dasuki who was arraigned yesterday alongside others on a fresh 19-count charge was ready to speak up on how the funds earmarked for his office was disbursed with details of top serving and retired Nigerian leaders who benefitted immensely from the money, which is now a subject of litigation.

Grandma caught trying to smuggle drugs in her vagina to son in prison

A grandmother admitted in court Monday that she attempted to smuggle drugs hidden in her vagina and bra into a maximum-security prison during a visit with her son.

Linda Ethal Sheridan smuggled drugs into a prison while visiting her son with her 10 year old granddaughter. She was supposed to have a three day visit with her incarcerated son.Both Sheridan and her granddaughter were searched by a drug sniffing dog upon entry. The dog detected the drugs on Sheridan, the National Post reports

Sheridan was escorted to the ladies room where she removed the three packages containing methamphetamine, heroin and marijuana. She thought that she could get away with concealing the drugs in cellophane and condoms but that ended up being an epic fail. Sheridan was arrested and later taken to Edmonton Police Service headquarters for a further search. In her bra, investigators found nicotine patches, cigarettes and hydromorphone, an opiate.

World's biggest' drug lord El Chapo declares war on ISIS with chilling threat

One of the world's most wanted drug lords has reportedly 'declared war' on the Islamic State in a threatening letter.
Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán sent an encrypted email to the ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi after one of his cartel's shipments was destroyed.
His letter, which has been leaked by cartelblog.com, claims his men will "destroy" the terror group if they continue to 'impact on their operation'.

Minister of Education Malam Adamu Adamu yesterday in Abuja inaugurated committees to investigate the managements of 10 universities and polytechnics over allegations of abuse of due process, financial mismanagement and sexual harassment.

JAMB Delists Four Osun State Owned Tertiary Institution From Website

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has delisted four tertiary institutions owned by Osun State Government have been from its website. They were said to be delisted for next two academic sessions on the request of the state government over plans to restructure them.

The institutions ?as made known by the Alumni
Associations of the four state-owned tertiary institutions are Osun state Polytechnic Iree, Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, Osun State College of Education, Ila Orangun, and Osun state College of Education, Ilesa.

Kogi State APC deputy governorship candidate, Abiodun Faleke who ran with late Prince Audu Abubakar in the November 21st governorship election, says he would not be available to be sworn-in as the deputy of the governor-elect, Yahaya Bello on January 27, 2016. Faleke said this at a press briefing in Kabba, Kogi state yesterday December 7th.

“I will not disappoint Prince Abubakar Audu. I, James Abiodun Faleke, will not be there for the swearing-in if we don’t finish the case before the January 27, 2016. Nobody consulted me before making me a deputy to Bello. He too did not consult me. I have made my position known to the party leadership on this. I am not ready to betray and disappoint Prince Abubakar Audu.”he said

Following claims by Nuhu Ribadu in several publications that he tried to bribe him with $15million to stop an investigation against him,Chief James Ibori has described the claims as horrible, revolting, nasty and totally false.

A statement released by Chief Ibori’s Media office reads

“As the Senate and some security agencies appear to be asking questions about some unwholesome events at the EFCC, including the mismanagement and criminal diversion of funds from the sale of confiscated properties into personal pockets, Ribadu may have a need to attempt to burnish his fading image, fearing the investigations may ask questions about events during his tenure.
But he should be told that lying, against even an enemy, just to gain some unearned applause and perhaps fence off some approaching investigation and image disaster,must have a limit,”
